Gregory Vaine and the Zephyrs

Based around original tunes by singer/guitarist Gregory Vaine, the band includes singer and mandolin player Patcrick Cleary, bass player Jeff Block, and harmonica player Doug Camphuis. The tunes range from string band sounds to more exotic jazz and latin rhythms, held together by Vaine’s unique way of blending poetry with melodies.

Gregory Vaine has been playing in and leading bands for many years. After some early years in bands such as The Wonderfuls and Thee Mystakes, he played in the popular LA based New Orleans review band Vaud and the Villains for many years. He’s led the original family oriented band The Hollow Trees for more that twenty years. He also led the folk/jazz band The Frogtown Serenaders for several years.

On 2025-06-06, Music Night under the Palapa brought together an incredible gathering at Best Fish Taco in Ensenada in Los Angeles. The night was filled with live performances from Gregory Vaine and the Zephyrs, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone who attended.
