The Irish Goodbye is the Los Angeles based sometimes-solo, sometimes-not project of Kevin M. Brennan. From playing taco shops, to opening* for Ozzy Osbourne, Kevin’s keyboard forward songs of heartbreak and triumph are the perfect soundtrack for blissing out as the world explodes. @theirishgoodbyeband.
Pat Cook is 40. That’s that.
DAGNASTERPUS is a jammin’ groove powerhouse that fell out of the mind of road warrior/composer, Tree Adams, former frontman of the New York City jam band, THE HATTERS. Tree is known for his award-winning work scoring film and tv projects such as The 100, Californication, Belushi, Legends, and NCIS: New Orleans, as well as producing songs for Grammy Award-winning artists like New Orleans legend, Cyril Neville, blues musician Taj Mahal and rapper YG.
DAGNASTERPUS features nimble horns, grimy beats and gritty vocals. Tree’s lyrics are imaginative and evocative with a hint of voodoo imagery welcoming listeners into an immersive and, at times, cinematic world of merriment and mirth. The DAGNASTERPUS is a benevolent mythical creature: part Poseidon, part Octopus and part Buddha. The band's self-titled debut album DAGNASTERPUS will be released by Six Degrees Records on June 25, 2021.
Based around original tunes by singer/guitarist Gregory Vaine, the band includes singer and mandolin player Patcrick Cleary, bass player Jeff Block, and harmonica player Doug Camphuis. The tunes range from string band sounds to more exotic jazz and latin rhythms, held together by Vaine’s unique way of blending poetry with melodies.
Gregory Vaine has been playing in and leading bands for many years. After some early years in bands such as The Wonderfuls and Thee Mystakes, he played in the popular LA based New Orleans review band Vaud and the Villains for many years. He’s led the original family oriented band The Hollow Trees for more that twenty years. He also led the folk/jazz band The Frogtown Serenaders for several years.
